Jurisdiction.
Any dispute arising from the use of this website, or from a mandate accepted by Mandat Genève, falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva. Swiss law applies.
2. Privacy policy (nLPD).
Protecting the privacy and personal data of our clients is, for us, a precondition rather than a compliance exercise. The following sections describe, in concrete terms, how we collect, process and protect your data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Categories of data collected.
As part of our advisory and brokerage mandates, we collect several categories of data, calibrated to the service you have requested.
Basic personal data
- Surname, first name, date of birth, nationality.
- Postal address, email, telephone number.
- Family situation (marital status, dependent children).
Financial and professional data
- Professional situation (employer, type of contract, salary range).
- Banking details, strictly when required to set up a premium debit or a benefit payment.
- Tax information, used for simulations, returns or Pillar 3a optimisation.
Sensitive data (Art. 5 let. c nLPD)
For personal insurance contracts (supplementary health, life insurance), we may need to process health-related data through a medical questionnaire. Such data is processed only with your explicit consent, on a strictly need-to-know basis, and stored under heightened security.
Purposes of processing.
- Execution of the mandate: Analysis of your needs, comparison of providers, conclusion and management of the insurance or financial contracts you have authorised.
- Client relationship: Booking and following up on appointments, responding to your queries, sending the written summaries we produce after each session.
- Legal obligations: Compliance with the documentation duties of the LSA and the LSFin, alongside the standard Swiss bookkeeping requirements.
- Marketing (with opt-out): Occasional newsletters or notices about Swiss regulatory developments. You may opt out at any moment.
- Security & improvement: Aggregated traffic analysis used to improve the experience of the website and to keep our infrastructure secure.
Transfers to third parties.
Your data is never sold. To execute our mandate, however, it may be shared with the following categories of partners, under formal data-protection agreements.
- Insurance and brokerage partners: Maximum Value Sàrl and the insurers or banks with which we conclude contracts on your behalf.
- Technical subcontractors: Web hosting, email infrastructure, customer relationship management. These providers act on our written instructions only.
- Authorities: Tax administration, FINMA, judicial authorities, exclusively when Swiss law requires it.
Transfers abroad.
Processing happens primarily in Switzerland and, when needed, in the European Union. Where a tool based outside this perimeter is involved, we ensure that the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the Federal Council, on Standard Contractual Clauses, or on adherence to the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.
Retention periods.
- Prospect data without contract: Erased or anonymised after a defined period of inactivity.
- Client data with active mandate: Retained for ten years after the end of the business relationship, in line with article 958f CO.
- Sensitive health data: Stored under enhanced security for the legal liability period applicable to the relevant contract.
Security of the processing.
We apply the technical and organisational measures required by the nLPD: encryption at rest and in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, complex passwords, strict logging, HTTPS by default and continuous monitoring of our infrastructure.
Your rights.
- Right of access (Art. 25 nLPD): Obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right of rectification: Correct any data that is inaccurate or outdated.
- Right of erasure: Request the deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention duties.
- Right of portability: Retrieve your data in a standard, reusable format.
