Legal Mentions & Privacy Policy.

This page gathers, on a single screen, the legal mentions governing the publication of mandatgeneve.com and the privacy policy applied to every interaction with our bureau. Both texts have been calibrated to the obligations of an independent FINMA-certified intermediary and to the level of confidentiality the diplomatic community expects from us.

1. Legal mentions.

Identity of the service provider.

The website mandatgeneve.com is operated by Mathias Guillermet, an independent financial intermediary based in Geneva and trading under the commercial name Mandat Genève.

Regulatory status.

Mathias Guillermet is a certified financial and insurance intermediary, supervised by the federal authorities listed below. Every recommendation issued by the bureau is therefore framed by formal regulatory oversight.

Diplomatic correspondence.

Every confidential enquiry related to the Special Regime or to a mandate accepted by the bureau is handled through the following channels.

Hosting and intellectual property.

The website is hosted on Swiss servers operated by a provider compliant with the nLPD. The content, the editorial structure, the logotype and the visual signature of Mandat Genève are protected under Swiss intellectual property law. Reproduction in any form requires our prior written agreement.

Jurisdiction.

Any dispute arising from the use of this website, or from a mandate accepted by Mandat Genève, falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva. Swiss law applies.

2. Privacy policy (nLPD).

Protecting the privacy and personal data of our clients is, for us, a precondition rather than a compliance exercise. The following sections describe, in concrete terms, how we collect, process and protect your data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Data controller.

Mandat Genève, in concert with Maximum Value Sàrl, acts as data controller for every file opened in our bureau.
Registered address: Avenue Cardinal-Mermillod 46, 1227 Carouge.
Representative and DPO: Mathias Guillermet.
Contact: [email protected].

Categories of data collected.

As part of our advisory and brokerage mandates, we collect several categories of data, calibrated to the service you have requested.

Basic personal data

Financial and professional data

Sensitive data (Art. 5 let. c nLPD)

For personal insurance contracts (supplementary health, life insurance), we may need to process health-related data through a medical questionnaire. Such data is processed only with your explicit consent, on a strictly need-to-know basis, and stored under heightened security.

Purposes of processing.

Transfers to third parties.

Your data is never sold. To execute our mandate, however, it may be shared with the following categories of partners, under formal data-protection agreements.

Transfers abroad.

Processing happens primarily in Switzerland and, when needed, in the European Union. Where a tool based outside this perimeter is involved, we ensure that the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the Federal Council, on Standard Contractual Clauses, or on adherence to the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention periods.

Security of the processing.

We apply the technical and organisational measures required by the nLPD: encryption at rest and in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, complex passwords, strict logging, HTTPS by default and continuous monitoring of our infrastructure.

Your rights.

To exercise these rights, please write to [email protected] with a copy of an identity document. We will reply within thirty days.

Cookies and trackers.

The website relies on a minimal set of cookies, used to maintain a working session and to measure aggregated traffic.

Updates of this policy.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the applicable law or in our own infrastructure. The version published on the website is the prevailing one.
